Academy of Reading
Academic Potential offers the Academy of READING®. This online tutoring program is a highly motivating proven computer-based reading enhancement tool, which focuses on fluency, accuracy and comprehension. It develops the automaticity of reading through activities such as phonemic awareness, sound symbol association, phonics and decoding, and comprehension. All activities develop, pacing, accuracy and processing.
To further enhance oral reading, Portfolio develops reading fluency, accuracy and comprehension. This program consists of high interest content, which allows students to listen, practice and self-correct. This modelled repeated reading is also monitored by Academic Potential’s teacher.
